Common questions
How much does a local move cost?
Local crews run $149/hr for two movers and a 26-ft truck, $199/hr for three, and $249/hr for four, with a two-hour minimum. Prefer a set price? We also do flat all-in moves, roughly $650 to $1,000 for a one-bedroom. See full local moving rates.
What is the rush-window, and why 5am?
Atlanta traffic on the Connector, I-75, I-85, and I-285 can double a drive time by 8am. On busy days our crews start at 5am so your truck is loaded and rolling before the worst of it. That saves you money on hourly jobs and stress on any job.
Do you move ITP and OTP?
Both. We work Inside the Perimeter through the historic neighborhoods and Outside the Perimeter past I-285 into Cobb, Gwinnett, and North Fulton. Access differs a lot between a Midtown high-rise and a Marietta cul-de-sac, so we plan parking and elevators up front. Check your service area.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. Pair Of Guys is a licensed and insured Georgia household-goods mover, with US DOT and MC authority on file and $1 million in cargo coverage. Basic released liability is included, and full-value protection is available if you want it.
Is there a deposit?
A $100 deposit holds your date and comes straight off the final bill. Nothing else is due until the job is done. If plans change, tell us early and we will move it or return it per our terms.
Can you handle a high-rise tower move?
Regularly. Buckhead and Midtown buildings usually want a certificate of insurance and a reserved freight elevator. Send us the building rules and we handle the COI and the time slot, so your crew is not stuck waiting in the lobby.
